17th July 2026 Hiking - Walking: The Dip at Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Friday 17th July - walk **** – The Dip at Felixstowe – cloudy start then sunny periods and hot. Maeva Friday, we had arranged to take her to the playschool end of term party at 9.45 before coming home the scenic route along Ferry Lane. We then had just enough time for breakfast in the garden and make a picnic before going to pick her up again at 11.30 before heading down to The Dip for a walk, she looked great in her sparkly party frock :) We played beach hut hide and seek but Maeva was not up for much of a walk and we only made it as far as the huts on the beach before returning to the van for lunch, we even had to shut the door as there was an onshore breeze blowing. Then home for water fun in the garden, a bit of reading and some Peppa Pig before her Dad came to pick her up at 7. I was chuffed to get two pics on this evenings BBC Look East including one I took at Harwich yesterday and one on our walk this afternoon at The Dip with Maeva! Photo Album here |
